Product Summary

The CGY2100 is a GaAs MMIC transimpedance amplifier. The device is suitable for use as a high sensitivity and high gain preamplifier for frequencies up to 2.8 GHz, and data bit rates up to 3.5 Gbits/s. The CGY2100 features differential outputs, as well as gain and bandwidth adjustment inputs. The device uses a 5 V positive supply voltage and a low current consumption negative supply voltage. The applications of the CGY2100 are Digital fibre optic receiver for optical telecommunications (e.g. OC-48, STM-16 systems), High sensitivity and high gain amplifier.
